In-person training
Scanning you can trust, in your office.
A scanner only pays off when the whole team is confident with it. Eric trains the dentist and staff in person, on your own cases, and stays your point of contact afterward.
The program
Three visits, plus ongoing support
- 1
Day one
Hands-on training with the dentist and team in your office: setup, scanning technique, and sending cases.
- 2
Your first case, together
Eric is chairside for a real first case, from preparation and scan to sending it to the lab.
- 3
Eric at the seating
Eric returns for the seating to review fit and contacts, and to tighten up the workflow.
- 4
Ongoing support
One point of contact for questions, new team members and follow-up visits as needed.
What the training covers
From the prep to the seating
- Scanner setup, laptop and software basics, and infection-control handling of tips
- Scanning technique: preparations, bite scans, opposing arches and tissue management
- Preparation design that scans well and restores predictably
- Shade photos, the prescription and sending complete cases to your lab
- Implant scans with scan bodies, and full-arch workflows where your scanner supports them
- What to do when a case does not seat: a simple remake workflow
Who it is for
Practices new to scanning, and those who want more from it
Training is included with every scanner True-Fit places. Practices that already own a scanner and want hands-on help can call to ask about training.
Every team gets True-Fit's practice resources: step-by-step workflows, chairside checklists and remake guides, prepared by Eric True, with the Digital Dental Prep and Scan Workflow prepared with his father, Dr. Stephen True.
